INTRODUCING NEW WEDDING DESIGNS!
With great joy we announce the release of two new wedding deigns. We now feature large-format invitations, bright white handmade paper, and bright white envelopes.
Our new Prairie Flower design mixes saffron colored botanical silhouettes and calligraphic swashes with simple modern text and open space. A delightful combination that is perfectly suited for the nature-inspired couple.
Those looking to make a grand statement will be charmed by our new Ballroom invitation set. A voluminous four-deckle handmade cotton sheet is letterpress printed in an understated font and embellished with an elegant swashed monogram.
Remember… as always, our papers are handmade here in Portland from 100% recycled cotton, and are printed using soy-based inks in our antique letterpress print shop.

Oblation has created a line of hand-bound guestbooks covered with luxurious bookcloth filled with either their handmade cotton paper or 100% recycled paper pages. Oblation Papers and Press owns and operates one of the few hand paper mills in North America. They specialize in letterpress printing on paper made by hand in their Pearl District letterpress print shop. Most of the cards have a deckle edge–a rough/torn looking edge–naturally formed during the sheet formation process. The paper is 100% recycled cotton that is produced with remnants from the garment industry. It is archival and acid free. This paper is perfectly suited for letterpress printing.
The Oblation print shop uses raised type and images in antique presses to make an elegant impression on the surface of each hand-fed sheet. They print with soy based inks. Invitations are hand-crafted and custom designed with original illustrations.
In addition to their own collection, Oblation offers many other invitation options from boutique designers around the country. They also offer a fast flat print option for budget minded customers who need small quantities or quick turn time.
